I like cinema. Especially when it’s good. But I don’t like to read Télérama. It bores me. No, what I like best is for you to take my hand and tell me about movies that I haven’t seen, or remind me of those I loved. Add a bit of music and you have my full attention.
That’s what I like with Blow Up, the cool webmagazine about cinema of the (excellent) French-German TV channel Arte.
Based on original video formats (Recuts, Collisions, Mail To,...), these enthusiasts share their passion for all cinema, French or foreign, with a fresh and funny tone.
This is a good way to relive some great moments of cinema, to learn more about it or to find a good movie that you would have missed.
A little «French» selection:
What is an Alain Delon?
What is a Jean-Paul Belmondo?
French actresses in Hollywood
And some good other ones:
The (imaginary) Top 5 best uses of Pink Floyd songs in movies, for music lovers
The Kyle MacLachlan Blues for the Agent Cooper fans
