Please read these answers carefully before sending us any questions.

Culturethèque has been a major platform for the French cultural network abroad for over 10 years, helping to promote French-speaking culture by making it accessible to as many people as possible, thanks to the availability of tens of thousands of online resources: digital books, children's albums, audio books, comic strips, podcasts, press, web-radios and self-training units.

Culturethèque is also a tool for cultural and educational activities, offering themed selections curated by the Institut français and from partnerships.

Culturethèque is intended for the members of the Instituts français, Alliances Françaises or SCAC (Services de Coopération et d'Action Culturelle) and their partner establishments around the world (with the exception of France). To have an access to Culturethèque, you must reside outside France and register with one of the establishments of the French network abroad or belong to an establishment benefiting from a partnership with an Institut français or an Alliance Française.

Culturethèque is a free content service offered in addition to the services of your Institut français / Alliance Française / SCAC or partner establishment.

Click on "Register". You will be asked to select a school in your geographical area, and to contact them if you wish to confirm your subscription.

If you had an active Culturethèque account with a valid email address. Your account has been retained. You should have received an email inviting you to log in on February 20. At the end of the 30-day trial period, if your membership has not been confirmed by your establishment, you will no longer have access to Culturethèque.
